Lizzie Miles (born Elizabeth Marie Laudreaux (1895-1963)) was an Afro-Creole Jazz and Blues singer, born in New Orleans. In the early 1900’s until 1930’s, she performed with the biggest jazz players among other Jelly Roll Morton, Paul Barbarin or Fats Waller and toured in the south of the U.S.A, New York, even in Europe.
With her songs in Louisiana creole -a.k.a. Kouri Vini- and her playful powerful voice, she was a singular yet one of the greatests female singers of New Orleans
